From Dallas:
Take I-45/US-75 South to Houston

From Houston:
Take US-59 South to Wharton. Then take SR-60 south thru Bay City to Matagorda.

From San Antonio: Take I-10 East to SR-71 East/South. Stay on SR-71 past El Campo. Look for FM 1468 15 miles South of El Campo. Turn left on FM 1468 to Markham. Turn left on SR-35 East. In Bay City turn right and Take SR-60 South to Matagorda.

In Matagorda: As you enter the city of Matagorda you will see Matagorda Harbor on the left. Turn left into the harbor, go over the levee and turn right to the bait camp and the boat ramp is right there.

Night Fishing: As you enter Matagorda go past the protection levy +/- 1 mile. Turn right on Truck Route road next to the old blimp station. Follow the road all the way down until it makes a Tee. Turn right and follow the sign and road to River Run Subdivision over the levy and to the end. At the cul-de-sac their will be a metal gate, go through the gate and you are there.

Private Dock: As you enter Matagorda go past the harbor to the only flashing light in town. Turn left and go over the levy, this is Beach Road. Follow Beach Road for aprox. 4 miles go to #198 Beach Road which is 6 houses before Rawling’s Bait Camp. You will see a the boat, a blue sundeck, and a fish cleaning table.
